Tommy
V is a Chicago born Rock guitar player who was thrown into the Los
Angeles R&B touring and recording scene in full force at the
age of 21. He performed on the Quincy Jones produced Keith Washington
"Make Time For Love" album and earned his first Gold record.
Numerous T.V., film and albums credits followed, including Miki
Howard's "Three Wishes" album that was nominated for a
Grammy. Tommy met drumming sensation Russ Miller when touring together
with R&B legend Bobby Caldwell's band. It was soon after, they
had a brainstorm of a modern Funk/R&B/Power trio. With the addition
of Rock/Funk bass master Vail Johnson, Powernut was born! No perservatives,
additives, overdubs or substituions, just old school Funk, dipped
in Heavy Metal.
